Manufacturing Information System in the Coca-Cola Company
Abstract
The Manufacturing Information System (Manufacturing Information System) provides information to all company managers relating to the company's manufacturing operations. The four output subsystems, namely production, inventory, quality, and costs, provide reports on subjects of great importance in manufacturing. In manufacturing information systems, computers are not only used to run the system itself. However, a computer can be a special device for producing goods, such as how robots can be used to produce goods more effectively and efficiently. Manufacturing information systems also use computers both conceptually and as an element within the company. Manufacturing information systems also use computers both conceptually and as an element in the physical production system. The purpose of writing this paper is to analyze and evaluate the use of the Manufacturing Information System at The Coca-Cola Company and how Coca Cola can improve performance through its Manufacturing Information System
