Abstract

Examinations have always been one of the critical components for accessing students’ overall academic performance globally. An efficient management of examination processes is a critical determinant assessing the validity of students’ scores. Furthermore, an effective Examination Hall Allocation System will significantly contribute the overall outcome of examination processes. Thus, this study intends to identify critical infrastructural considerations that will aid the implementation of a robust and digitized Examination Hall Allocation System (EHAS) in tertiary institutions. Allocating an accurate number of students to an examination hall is always a difficult task. However, with the application of technology, the challenges associated with this process can be greatly mitigated if not eliminated. A digitized Examination Hall Allocation System comes with numerous benefits such as optimal resource utilization, improved time etc. In order to overcome a number of the complexities associated with the design and implementation of an efficient and reliable system, the study recommended the adoption of best practices in software development, data security, and system administration.
