Virtual Teams in Multinational Companies: Communication, Technology, Trust, and Inclusion in Global Collaboration
Abstract
The increasing globalization of business operations and the rapid advancement of digital technologies have significantly transformed how organizations coordinate their workforce. Multinational companies now operate across multiple countries and time zones, requiring new methods of collaboration that allow employees to work together despite geographical distance. One of the most prominent outcomes of these developments is the emergence of virtual teams. Virtual teams consist of individuals who collaborate across geographical and cultural boundaries using digital communication technologies such as email, video conferencing platforms, messaging applications, and collaborative software tools.
